Crozier-Williams Student Center

From Connwiki

Crozier-Williams Student Center, more often referred to as Cro, is the hub of much of students' extracurricular life. Oasis Snack Shop almost always has at least several students in it, and is full to bursting many evenings, especially Thursday and Saturday nights. Accessable from the snack shop is the Cro Bar, usable by Conn's over-21 students. The Information Desk is a good place to go to find out what's going on around campus. The Post Office is open almost all the time for students and faculty to check their mail. The Convenience Store has less reliable hours, lending to its nickname as the "Inconvenient Store". However, this too is open a good portion of the time, making available the sorts of things one buys at convenience stores. Next to the Convenience Store is the PICA office. Also in the main lobby of Cro is the Bank of America ATM, two web kiosks, and the laundry card machine. Down the hall from these is the College Bookstore, operated by EFollett (as is the Convenience Store).

Cro has a number of rooms for group meetings. The largest is the 1962 Room, located across from the bookstore. On the second floor are many more meeting spaces: Cro's Nest, the 1941 Room, the Alice Johnson Room, Room 224, and less frequently two small dance studios are all used for group meetings. Also on the second floor are pool, foosball, and air hockey tables outside Cro's Nest. There are couches and a big screen TV also in the Cro's Nest lobby. Off of this space is the Student Activities Council office, and vending machine room. There is also a smaller lobby outside the 1941 room where there are also couches. Also on the second floor is a hallway that holds the offices of Student Life, OVCS, SGA, the College Voice, the The Daily Conntact.

On the third floor of Cro are the offices of the Dance department, as well as Martha Myers Dance Studio and the dance department lounge.

Also in Cro, although not connected on the inside, is the college radio station, WCNI.
