Campus
From Connwiki
Connecticut College owns about 750 acres of land in the New London/Waterford area. However, the campus itself only comprises about 10% of all the land. Much of the space is dedicated to the Arboretum.
The campus proper is divided into three sections: South, Central and North campus. For some divisions, Central is split into two sections, Central One and Central Two.
South Campus
South has some great dorms, it's immediately adjacent to the green, and its dorms are the closest to Cummings Art Center. In fact, many Academic Buildings are just across the green from South dorms. South also has dining halls in JA and Freeman. However, one problem with South is that it's quite a walk from The Plex, where the majority of the campus resides, and where residents must go on weekends to eat.
Central Campus
Central campus is the location of the the oldest dorms on campus. In the nature of things that are central, it is centrally located and has quick access to the library, Cro, and is close to most of the academic buildings. Moreover, it contains Smith Dining Hall.
North Campus
North campus consists exclusively of The Plex, holding Harris and six dorms.
